Fever is a very common ailment that everyone goes through. This is because fever is an underlying medical condition. But it does not mean that fever is always a bad thing – sometimes you have fever because it is an indication that your body is fighting off viruses and bacteria.

- If you have mild fever, you should lie on a bed and completely cover yourself with a blanket for 20 minutes so that you can sweat it out. Stay in bed as much as possible.

- When it comes to eating, it is best that you go with liquid food over solid food or eat those that are easily digestible. Examples of these are boiled or steamed vegetables, soup and yogurt.
