  • Eat a dry piece of toast or a banana so that you can have something in your stomach that is not heavy enough for you to throw up. If you are able to keep something down then you will be feeling less pain in the stomach.

  • Take a hot steamy bath so that you can sweat it out and release the toxins.

As you can see, this hangover remedies are very easy to do and will not require much thinking. With a hangover, thinking will be the last thing you would want to do. But the best remedy is to prevent it from happening. Limit the amounts of drinks that you have and you will not have to worry about having one in the first place.

Shiatsu is a Japanese form of massage. It literally means “finger pressure” which gives you an idea that you are going to receive a massage through finger pressure.

Although it is Japanese, shiatsu is based on the holistic system of Chinese medicine wherein the illness is thought to be the result of imbalances in your natural flow of energy or Qi throughout your body. The flow of Qi is improved through Shiatsu by using palm and finger pressure in a rhythmic continuous pace to work on the energetic pathways called meridians. You will notice that the pressure seems to be localized due to the use of fingers.

Some pressure points may feel tender but it is usually described as a good feeling of pain to most people. However, if you feel any discomfort during the treatment, it is still best that you tell your therapies so that the therapist can adjust the pressure to a level that will be comfortable to you.

Shiatsu treatment is done on a low massage table or on the floor. And unlike other forms of massage, no oil is applied so you have to remain clothed during the treatment. Make sure that you get to wear comfortable clothing.

Another tip you could use is to not eat a heavy meal before your shiatsu treatment takes place. This can be very uncomfortable to you.

Take note that you are not allowed to get a Shiatsu treatment if you have rashes, open wounds, just had surgery, chemotherapy or radiation, blood clots, pregnant and if you have osteoporosis.
