
Dark circles under your eyes only announces to everyone you meet how stressful and unhealthy your lifestyle is. Getting rid of them is also hard and takes a lot of time. But did you know that having dark circles under your eyes is also one way of your body telling you that you are about to get sick?

Luckily enough, there are home remedies that can help you diminish these dark circles under the eyes temporarily and help prevent them from looking worse. Here are some of these remedies and some tips to help you stop looking like a tired panda each day:
- Apply cool and plain tea bags over your closed eyes. Take note that the tea must be plain and not herbal. This is because herbal tea bags are found to be note effective.
- Apply cooled cucumber slices over your closed eyes for fifteen minutes.
- Apply sunscreen that has a minimum SPF of 30 under your eyes in order to stop sun damage from weakening that part of the skin.
- Make sure that you get a lot of sleep and drink a lot of water.
- Take dietary supplements that have antioxidant pigments that can help strengthen your blood vessels. These supplements should be used with medical supervision. Another source for those antioxidant pigments is blueberries, cranberries, green and black tea, legumes, onions, parsley and many more.
- Eat kidney balancing meals. This is because in Traditional Chinese Medicine, these dark circles under the eyes are triggered by an imbalance when it comes to kidney energy.
