Integrative body-mind training (IBMT) changing your life!
Oct 10th, 2007 by Dan
Integrative body-mind training (IBMT) is a form of meditation developed in the 90’s from Chinese forms of meditation for improving health. Does it work? That is what a group of researchers wanted to find out.
The University of Oregon compared the health of two groups of students. Some of the students were given a week of training in IBMT, while the others were taught basic relaxation techniques. What they found afterwards showed that the IBMT group had significantly greater improvement in focus and attitude. The students energy increased, while anxiety, depression, and anger levels went down.

where can i find details of this technique, to perform it at home?
I’m also interested in performing this technique at home. I read about the study done in China for just 5 days, 20 minutes per day using recorded information on the technique. Is there anything like that available to me? Thanks
I, too would like to find this protocol and CD for myself and to recommend to my patients. I am a psychologist.
