Breath of Fire

Here is another free breathing exercise called the Breath of Fire. This exercise really stimulates the nervous system and produces a great deal of mental clarity. If you are tired or feeling worn out, maybe a little depressed, this exercise will stimulate you.
Sit comfortable with your hand on your belly button (navel), breath in deeply through your nose feeling you hand rise. Once you have filled your lungs quickly exhale pushing your hand towards your spine. Repeat. Do this a few times and then increase the speed of the exercise. Focusing on exhaling as quickly as you can. Continue to quicken the pace of the exercise till you are pumping your stomach like a bellows or sounding like a locomotive. It may appear like you are panting like a dog; however remember to keep the breaths smooth…quick but smooth. Focus on the exhale and pushing your hand to your spine.
Doing this for 30 seconds can really get your brain back in the game. For other free breathing exercises be sure to check out —>Free Breathing Exercises
